In our endeavour to usher in environmentally sustainable technologies, we focus on harnessing sources that are otherwise wasted such as low quality waste heat gases (from cement plants, reciprocating engines exhausts), municipal & other perishable wastes, by-product gases (from recovery type coke ovens) to generate & smartly distribute electricity. We help our patrons to adopt proven technologies to conserve water in townships & industrial processes and re-cycle sewer water for ground water recharging or disposal into water streams after treatment.

We have five core areas of operations:
Powergen has considerable expertise in basic & detail engineering, project management and construction supervision for successful and timely execution of large coal thermal or gas turbine based combined cycle power plants.
Our design & engineering expertise in Water & Waste Water starts from river water intake well to last mile township distribution network with filter plant and pumping systems in between. In Waste Water, our scope starts from district underground sewer network system to Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The final treated water coming out of the STP can be disposed off as per Government requirement or re-cycled for usage.
In the transport infrastructure domain, our expertise covers Steel & Composite bridges, Precast Segmental Post-Tensioned Viaducts for Metro Rail, simply supported PSC girders for River bridges, Viaducts & Flyovers. We are conversant in Indian, British and Euro codes for design & documentation.
Apart from basic system design for power generation and distribution, our electrical engineering department is conversant in using analytical tools for system study and transient analyses for system stability in a large multi generator system with downstream complicated distribution network.
