By harnessing our expertise in Analytics, we have designed various techniques and methodologies for Structural Health Monitoring & Assessment (SHM) of bridges, large handling equipment & cranes.
With our capabilities in full spectrum Engineering (Civil, Steel Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation) Planning and Expert Supervision have successfully executed various Power, Steel and other mineral based projects as Design Consultants. Expertise in co-generation from cement making and other processes, where Low Quality Heat is generated which is normally exhausted (wasted) into atmosphere.
In Engineering Analytics, domain ranges from Electrical System Studies to Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Methods (FEM) for analysis of large technological structures, fluid dynamics etc.
Powergen is successfully using FEM for SHM of Port Handling Equipment like Garb Ship Unloaders, Stackers & Reclaimers, Cranes and Steel Bridges. All necessary hardware and software are designed, built and installed by us. Field data transmission from strain gauges, accelerometers, anemometers and other sensors are done by wireless and cloud systems. For real time and continuous measurement of Deflection in bridge girders, bottom chords, pylons and booms in cranes & handling equipment we have developed Laser Photometric Measurement System (LPMS).
On the Bridge front we design Steel & Composite structures for River / Railway bridges, ROBs, Viaducts & flyovers using methods of Limit State Theories to Indian, BS and Euro codes.
Design & engineering expertise in Water & Waste Water starts from river water intake well to last mile distribution network with water filter plant and pumping stations. In Waste Water we can render complete design & engineering of district underground sewer network system, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). Treated water coming out of the STP can be disposed off as per Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organisation (CPHEEO) norms.
